This show was really exciting for me. I love walking into a gallery/art space not knowing what I'm going to find. Only to stumble upon giant ceramic nuts. Particularly giant walnuts that look like they've been crushed by a giant nut cracker. But said nut cracker is nowhere to be found. I was particularly excited about the loneliest little nut shown in the image in the photo gallery below. Can you find it??
I was pleased to be a part of a great group show as one of Sugar Presses artists. Fathom galllery is a beautiful gallery in DTLA. I couldn't have been happier to have my work sit along side some amazing LA artist's work. Below are some picks from the event as well as the paintings that I was able to share.

I was honored when a dear friend commissioned me to create a portrait of her and her fiance. They were recently married this past weekend in Florida. I was sad that I couldn't make it, but so pleased about their new commitment to each other. Reymond Drew and Jenny Dugger, your love for each other continues to inspire me. I love you both!
It's been a really long time since I've made a large scale painting. I think it's been about 3 years and I have missed it tremendously. It's in it's very early stages, but here's a sneak peak. I don't plan on sharing too much of the process for this one. I hope you enjoy. Can't wait to share more later!!
thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear from you :)
Hard at work and lovin every minute of it!
This is just a detail of what I've got so far. The canvas is about 6 ft x 5 ft. Eeeeee!! I love working large! The face only takes up about 10 inches of the canvas so it might end up submerged in . . . who knows what!!?!! The mystery is the best part!
Please leave some comments. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
